We started looking into making this product after speaking with a lot of nurses and care-givers that have to wash and sanitise their hands often in their line of work. As a result, many of them often had skin problems on their hands and excessive dryness as a result of the alcohol-based cleansers. So we wanted to make something natural that did the same job but without all the damage, and even give the hands a little moisture and TLC. After 2 years of formulation, we’re proud of the product we developed to help keep hands soft AND clean.
NOTE: The best protection advised for a virus is washing hands with soap and water. Hand sanitisers have not been tested against the Covid 19 virus.
INGREDIENTS
Aqua (H₂O’s Fancy name), Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Sclerotium Gum (Food Grade Thickener), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Piroctone Olamine (Olamine Salt), Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Citrus Limonum (Lemon) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Acetum (Apple Cider Vinegar), Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract.
Because we make our products for our families, we have a strict ingredient philosophy that excludes ingredients like Parabens, Phenoxyethanol and penetration enhancers.

Why can’t you make an anti-bacterial formula that smells better?
We get this question from time to time as our formula is quite different than regular anti-bacterial products on the market. The reason for this is because we don’t use any synthetic or alcohol-based ingredients so we’re unable to target bacteria in the same way. Instead, we use a specific blend of essential oils to target various types of bacteria, which gives is a strong herbal scent that we know isn’t to everyone’s liking. But we thought it most important to create a natural product that does the job of killing bacteria and using essential oils does the trick. The scent is a combination of Thyme, Tea Tree, Orange, Lemon and Rosemary essential oils, and some people love it!
Why do you say 'Kills 99.99% Bacteria? What does this mean?
As this report shows from the test we had done on our Natural Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel we report the “99.9999 Kill.” However, the maximum allowable claim is 99.99% and that’s why it's on our labels. Best to be conservative perhaps. Also note that these are tested against the sort of bacteria that can cause food poisoning, not viruses. That's why we also make for the time being a less natural Alcohol-based Hand Sanitiser as this is what is encouraged in the current climate.

Thyme Oil
A natural oil that is extracted from the leaves of the thyme plant. It is known for its fresh and herbaceous scent, and is often used in dental care products for its antiseptic and antimicrobial properties.
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
Aloe Vera is a flowering succulent plant that stores water in their enlarged fleshy leaves, stems, or roots. The leaf juice contains many minerals vital to the growth process and healthy function of all the body’s systems, and is particularly known for its healing and soothing benefits. We loved it before we made skin care, and we love it in our creams.
Tea Tree Oil
A natural oil that is extracted from the leaves of the tea tree plant. It is known for its fresh and clean scent.
Orange Oil
A natural oil that is extracted from the peel of the orange fruit. It is known for its refreshing and uplifting scent.
Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E)
We choose only to use naturally sourced Vitamin E instead of a synthetic one. Although it is more expensive, it has twice the bioavailability of synthetic forms which we think is worth the extra cost.
